Spoilers for the Stargate:Atlantis eps "Irresistible" and "Sateda" behind the cut?

Okay, so, is it just me, or do these two episodes show up even better through the slash-colored glasses than this show's eps usually do? I'm thinking specifically of McKay's drugged explanation of how he and Sheppard were separated planetside in "Sateda" ("...[there's a guy looks like you but with messy hair], I lost him...", the emphasis is mine) and of how, in "Irresistible", Beckett and McKay and Zelenka are looking at Lucius like giddy teenage girls looking at Orlando Bloom. :) I don't personally ship Sheppard/Dex, but if you swing that way you could also get some warm fuzzies from just about every scene involving both John and Ronon, or John talking about Ronon, in "Sateda".

I'm not adding the Sheppard-Teyla scene to this list, for the simple reason that that scene undoubtedly gives warm fuzzies to folks who aren't slashers, or even shippers (although I think it'd be hard to watch this show and not ship anyone). Quite simply, that scene is required viewing for anyone who has ever felt the Sheppard-love.

Anyone else want to recommend scenes they'd show someone if they needed to explain Sheppard's appeal to a nonbeliever?

I never remember this comm is around.

Huh. I'd go with Rising, 38 Minutes, The Storm/The Eye (especially Shep taking down pointless Kolya and massacring 87+ genii), Letters From Pegasus, and whichever of the season finales had him risk his life more.
